Some driver assistance technology needs improvement, but Volvo assures that it will be addressed before customer deliveries.
The Auto Trader expert verdict: 4 Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Volvo's EX30 is not only known for its sharp styling and impressive performance, but also for its affordable price. Even when compared to popular models like the MG4 and BYD Atto 3, the EX30 in its most basic form offers great value for money. On the other hand, the high-performance version of the EX30 can give Tesla drivers a run for their money. However, the EX30 has more to offer than just its price and performance. Volvo's commitment to sustainability is evident in the extensive use of recycled materials, which is likely to appeal to environmentally conscious consumers. Additionally, the EX30 boasts a cool Scandinavian design that is both aesthetically pleasing and practical. It is a significant improvement over the Smart #1 and Zeekr X, which are closely related models. During our test drive of the pre-production cars, we noticed that some of the driver assistance technology could use some refinement. However, we have been assured that these issues will be addressed before the first EX30s are delivered to customers.
