The Vmoto APD Concept, a futuristic and aerodynamic electric scooter, has been unveiled by Australian motorcycle company Vmoto. Partnering with Italian design house Pininfarina, Vmoto has created a visually exciting scooter that stands out among its counterparts. The scooter, showcased at the EICMA Show in Italy, features a sleek design and was crafted with a focus on aerodynamics in Pininfarina's wind tunnel.
With its sharp lines, thin LEDs, and interweaving surfaces, the Vmoto APD Concept exudes a strong sci-fi vibe without appearing too outlandish. The standout feature is its "Kammback" tail, which incorporates a curved LED taillight for a retro-futuristic touch. Additionally, the scooter offers a bespoke bag that serves as an extension of the saddle, providing extra storage space along with a removable rear compartment.
While Vmoto has not released the specifications of the electric powertrain, it is expected that the scooter will be produced in China, where Vmoto's production facilities are located. The company plans to debut the production version of the scooter in 2024, with the APD Concept serving as a preview of what's to come.
Those interested in seeing the Vmoto APD Concept in person can visit the EICMA 2023 in Milan from November 9 to 12. This innovative electric scooter offers a glimpse into the future of two-wheeled transportation and showcases Vmoto's commitment to producing cutting-edge vehicles.
