Van electrification in focus at BVRLA webinar

The BVRLA's next Fleets in Charge free webinar, scheduled for Wednesday 29 November, will focus on the hot topic of boosting electric van uptake.
During the webinar, Lizzie Culwick, joint head at the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, will provide an update from the Government on the subject of vans becoming the road to zero hero.
Culwick's overview will cover the recent zero emission vehicle mandate announcement, its implications for vans, and the potential measures being considered to increase e-van uptake.
The event will also include a discussion on the BVRLA's recent Road to Zero report card. Thomas McLennan, head of policy & public affairs at the association, will present the key findings and highlight the main recommendations for vans.
A panel discussion will follow, focusing on the specific needs of van users and how solutions can be adapted to meet those needs.
The expert panel will consist of Ash Tate, MD at Allstar Chargepass; Matt Dale, head of transport consultancy and e-Mobility at Mitie Plan Zero; Michelle Miles, head of ProGreen; and Paul Kirby, eLCV expert at EV Essentials.
