The vehicles are the next generation of Einride’s electric and self-driving cargo vehicles it calls “Pods.” Einride’s new AETs are electric transport vehicles that can be remotely controlled by a human.

Japan’s Toyota Motor Corp & Hino to Develop a Class-8 Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Truck for North America
Oct 06, 2020 11:50 AM WSTJapan's Toyota Motor Corp and its truck division Hino USA announced on Monday an agreement to jointly develop a Class 8 fuel cell electric truck (FCET) for the North American market. The two companies will combine the newly developed Hino XL Series truck which normally runs on diesel fuel with Toyota's zero emissions fuel cell technology.

Tesla Delivers 139,300 Electric Vehicles in Q3, its Best Quarter Ever

The record deliveries indicate strong demand for its vehicles, despite the impact the global pandemic has on the auto industry. Tesla's production numbers also increased to 145,036 vehicles in Q3.

Tesla Cuts of the Price of the Model 3 Sedan in China by 8%
Oct 01, 2020 2:45 PM WSTCalifornia automaker Tesla has cut the price of the China-built Model 3 in China by 8%. Tesla’s China website now shows the starting price of the standard range Model 3 sedan at 249,900 yuan ($36,805), after Chinese subsidies for electric vehicles are applied. The day before, the starting price for Model 3 was listed at 271,550 yuan ($39,990) after subsidies.

The Republican EPA chief is now focused on California, just days after the state’s Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order that bans the sale of new gas-powered vehicles beginning in 2035.
