Lidar Startups Innoviz & Ouster Raise Millions to Supply Tech for Self-Driving Cars

One of the most important pieces of hardware for self-driving vehicles is lidar and two emerging lidar startups announced this week they raised millions in new funding to supply the technology. Israeli startup Innoviz Technologies said on Tuesday it raised $132 million, bringing its total funding to $214 million, while San Francisco-based Ouster said on Monday it raised $60 million.
