Global auto parts supplier Continental AG developed what it calls a “Road AND Driver” camera for automated vehicles that monitors both the driver and traffic in front of the vehicle. The dual-camera system continuously detects whether a driver is paying attention to the road, while at the same time monitors the vehicle's surroundings.
